We are thrilled to invite the University of Michigan Medical School community to join the Department of Emergency Medicine for the Eighth Annual Barsan Research Forum in-person on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 from 8:00am-2:30pm. This year’s event will be held at NCRC, Building 18, Rm G201 Dining Hall.
The annual Barsan Emergency Medicine Research Forum is an event highlighting the department's latest and upcoming research and innovations. It is a celebration of department research, other scholarly activities, and a chance to gain better understanding of the impact and full spectrum of U-M EM research.
The Keynote speaker this year will be Rebecca Cunningham, M.D., William G. Barsan Collegiate Professor of Emergency Medicine, Vice President for Research, U-M Office of the Vice President for Research, and Principal Investigator, Firearm Safety Among Children and Teens (FACTS) Consortium. She will be presenting: “Reflections on a Research Career in Academic Emergency Medicine”.
