Biography
Hello everyone! My name is Bhavneet Singh, but you can call me Bobby. I was born in Sacramento, California, then moved to Boulder City, Nevada, for four years, and finally stayed put in Canton, Michigan, since 2004. I went to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor for undergrad, worked as a medical scribe for one year, then completed medical school at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. I am super excited and humbled to be back at the University of Michigan for residency! I pursued Family Medicine because of the diverse patient population (from birth to the elderly), the level of community involvement, emphasis on preventative health and wellness, and the many opportunities for teaching/academics. I felt that the University of Michigan has an amazing, supportive group of individuals, along with providing so many resources as an academic institution, that will foster my growth as a resident. During my free time, I love to do Bhangra (a Punjabi folk dance), play basketball (ball is life), hike, and spend time with my family and friends.
