Bridget A. Watson, M.D.

Class of 2025
University of Cincinnati College of Medicine

Hi! My name is Bridget Watson and I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I studied neuroscience at Saint Louis University and then returned to Ohio to attend medical school at University of Cincinnati. I’m pursuing a career in family medicine because it will allow me to shape my practice to care for patients of specific vulnerable populations that need higher levels of expertise and longitudinal care over their life journeys, such as gender and sexually diverse individuals, patients struggling with addiction, and patients seeking reproductive health care. I love caring for patients of all ages, focusing on prevention and health maintenance, and the opportunity to provide individualized care for each patient and be an advocate for them at every stage of their lives. I am a Family Medicine resident at the Ypsilanti continuity site. I am so excited to be a part of the University of Michigan Family Medicine Residency Program because of the supportive environment of faculty and residents, the focus on health equity and justice, and the balanced exposure to academic and community medicine. In my free time, I love to dance, play volleyball, listen to podcasts and binge watch TV shows, roller-skate, and spend time with my pets, friends, and family!
