Biography
I was born and raised in Michigan, and have lived here for most of my life! I went to college at Wayne State in Detroit, where I loved serving and learning about the city. After college, I decided to serve in the Peace Corps. I served in a village in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania as a high school teacher, and I engaged my community with health education about HIV/AIDS and malaria, and was involved in youth and girls empowerment. I headed back to Michigan for medical school and am excited to stay on for residency!
