Residency Program Receives 5-Year Accreditation
Margaret L. Dobson, M.D., residency director, is pleased to share the news that the residency program received a five-year accreditation from the Residency Review Committee (RRC), which is the maximum cycle allowed by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Dr. Dobson wishes to thank all the faculty, residents, and staff who commit so much of their time, effort, and expertise to making U-M one of the best programs in the country to train future family physicians.
U.S. News & World Report Ranking
In the U.S. News & World Report rankings released today, the Department ranked fourth (tie) in the Family Medicine Medical Specialty rankings of Best Graduate Schools 2018. The program climbed four places from eighth last year.
