Biography
Hi everyone! My name is Liz Marshall. I received both my undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Michigan and am a proud, die hard Wolverine! After searching all around the midwest for family medicine programs, I'm so thrilled to have landed back at my home institution. This residency programs offers a wonderful hybrid of community and academic medicine with emphasis on both inpatient and outpatient training, along with obstetrics. I feel so fortunate to be in Ann Arbor and at the University of Michigan for at least another three years! Besides the quality training at this program, what truly attracted me were the people I encountered on my interview day. The faculty, staff, and other residents truly made me feel welcomed and had such diverse experiences bringing them to this point that I knew there were no bounds to what I could learn from them. And, last but not least, GO BLUE!
Areas of Interest
Clinical Interests
Like many who enter family medicine, I have a wide variety of clinical interests. I am interested in women's health and maternal-child care and hope to practice obstetrics during my career as a family physician. I am also interested in geriatrics and quality-of-life outcomes for this population.
