Emma S. Ernst, M.D., M.P.H.

Hello! My name is Emma. I am originally from Occidental, California, a small town north of San Francisco. For my undergraduate degree, I attended Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and studied cell biology and Spanish. After graduating from Tulane, I spent another year in New Orleans working in a prostate cancer research lab and then moved to Boston, MA to attend medical school at Tufts University. I participated in a dual MD/MPH curriculum while at Tufts and took one additional medical school year to focus on palliative care research. I am now excited to continue my journey at the University of Michigan Family Medicine Residency Program! In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, baking, running, and taking walks around my neighborhood.
