Biography

Hello! My name is Kristie and I am from Ellicott City, Maryland. I attended UW-Madison for undergrad (Go Badgers!) and I have a MPH in Epidemiology and Global Health from Boston University, as well as an MD from Wayne State SOM. I chose family medicine because it was the perfect place to blend my love of primary care, public health, research, education and advocacy. I love learning from my amazing patients and being able to care for them at every stage of life. I chose University of Michigan for residency because of the diverse and passionate faculty that are as committed to health equity as I am. In my free time, I love spending time with friends and family as well as traveling and being outside as much as possible. Ann Arbor is a wonderful and welcoming place to live and there is always something new to try or explore!
