Monica R. Thipparthi, M.D.

i everyone! My name is Monica Thipparthi. I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I moved to Novi, Michigan when I was ten years old and definitely consider myself a Michigander! I went to Wayne State University in Detroit, where I received a B.S. in Psychology and a M.D. four years later. Living in Detroit, I found a passion working with underserved populations, which inspired me to pursue a career in Family Medicine! I chose the family medicine program at the University of Michigan because it offers full-scope academic and community training. The program is rigorous, yet rewarding. The faculty are dedicated to teaching and I couldn't imagine myself at any other program!
