In the U.S. News & World Report rankings released this month, the Department ranked eighth in the Family Medicine Medical Specialty rankings of Best Graduate Schools 2017.
The Department remains in the top ten, as it has for more than ten years.
"It is wonderful to see that others recognize the incredible expertise of our faculty in all our missions. Our clinical work, teaching success, and research outcomes are all at a very high level, I believe as good as any other Family Medicine department in the country. It's an honor to work with such talented and personable individuals," said Philip Zazove, M.D., the George A. Dean, M.D. Chair of Family Medicine.
