Biography

Dr. Nora Dagher was born in the metro Detroit area and developed a passion for community service in high school, carrying over into her undergraduate career at the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor where she majored in History and Biomedical Science. As a result of her experiences in undergrad, she knew medicine, specifically primary care, was a natural next step. She completed her medical school career at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by family medicine residency at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI where she also served as Chief Resident. While in residency, Dr. Dagher was recognized with MSU-CHM resident educator of the year award and resident award for FM advocacy. Dr. Dagher hopes to broaden her career in advocacy, leadership, and clinical teaching with a fellowship in Community Medicine at U-M. Afterwards, she hopes to pursue a career in academic medicine.
