Dr. Rockwell is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her family practice residency at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine of the Medical College of Hampton Roads in Norfolk, Va. She also completed a Family Medicine Faculty Development Institute fellowship, the Michigan Education Scholars Program at the University of Michigan, and an American Academy of Family Physicians fellowship in Vaccine Science. Special research and clinical interests include women's health, colposcopy, immunizations, dermatology, dermatologic excision biopsy and minor surgery. Dr. Rockwell is the Medical Director at Family Medicine at Domino's Farms.

The Department's immunization expert, Dr. Rockwell, is expanding her work with the AAFP and ACIP to study and improve vaccine options.
Hosted by several local physician groups, many doctors participated in a press conference reminding parents of the importance of getting their children immunized.
