Biography

My name is Paul Joseph and I am a born and raised Michigander. My love for the Great Lakes State has kept me close to home throughout my education. I attended The University of Michigan for my undergraduate studies where I studied Cellular and Molecular Biology. I then moved to Detroit to attend Wayne State University School of Medicine, and on the first day of anatomy lab I met my dissection partner and now life partner. Our couple's match successfully brought us to Michigan Medicine and we are thrilled to be back in Ann Arbor to continue our training! Outside of medicine, my hobbies include long-distance cycling, arc welding, and gardening - you could say that another hobby of mine is finding new hobbies, I'm always looking for new things to try. This same curiosity for life led me to pursue Family Medicine, and there is truly no better place to experience the full scope of this field than Michigan Medicine!
