Biography
Hey everyone! My name is Rosa. I am originally from Springfield, Virginia but I was raised in Honduras. I completed my undergraduate in Maine, Masters of Science in New Orleans and medical school at UIWSOM in San Antonio, Texas. So, I really have been all over and am beyond excited to be completing my family medicine training at the University of Michigan! My passion for this field really came from having lived in an underserved community where access to quality care is hard to come by. Family medicine at U-M truly meets patients where they are at and through these connections with our community is when we can truly make a difference in our patient's lives. Outside of medicine, I love traveling, spending time with my significant other and friends, exploring new restaurants, being outdoors, dancing, scuba diving and reading fiction.
