Biography
David Bunning has held various roles in global asset management and investments since 1991. He was President and Co-Founder of The Food Allergy Project, Inc. (FAP) from 2005 until 2009. The mission of FAP was to increase awareness of food allergies, fund food allergy research and foster cooperation between food allergy sufferers, research scientists, policy makers, allergists, food companies and restaurants. FAP contributed research grants to institutions including Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Duke University, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Children's Memorial Hospital (Chicago), Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and Children's Hospital Boston. FAP merged with The Food Allergy Initiative, Inc. (FAl) in early 2009. David currently serves as Vice Chairman of FAl and is a Member of the Board of Directors of Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
