2016 Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center Pilot Grant Program

The Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center invites University of Michigan investigtors to submit applications for proposals to identify basic science discovery that have impact on the understanding and/or treatment of food allergy. Proposals that help to bridge the gap between the growing clinical food allergy disease and the mechanisms that mediate disease progression will be favored. Areas of research can include, but are not limited to, basic immunologic mechanisms, epithelial cell/barrier biology, mast cell/IgE-mediated inflammation, immune tolerance, microbiome, and allergen-related inflammation.
