Keynote speakers set for June scientific symposium

The MHWFAC will host biomedical researchers, physicians and other scientists at a virtual 2021 research symposium on June 2-3 via Zoom. 

“Mechanisms and Treatment of Food Allergy” will offer an outstanding program featuring esteemed biomedical experts and thought leaders. The half-day session on June 2 will address clinical research, and during the half-day session on June 3 we'll hear from experts in basic research.  

Our keynote speaker on June 2 will be Supinda Bunyanovich, MD, MPH, MPhil of the Icahn School of Medicine in New York.  And on June 3, the keynote will be delivered by Liam O'Mahoney, PhD, of Ireland's University College-Cork. 

Online registration is open.  There is no charge to attend. Additional program and speaker information will be announced soon.

The symposium is made possible through the Michigan Food Allergy Research Accelerator (M-FARA) Program, which was established with a generous gift to our center.  We hope to see you online in June for a productive and informative gathering.
