The Global Health Initiatives Forum series resumes for the 2019-20 academic year with an appearance from special guest Dr. Nelson Sewankambo, former Dean of Makerere University Medical School, Uganda, a past Principal of Makerere University College of Health Sciences and a Professor of internal medicine. Sewankambo, MBChB, MSc, M.MED, FAAS, FRCP, LLD, will give a talk entitled The Ethics of Global Health Partnerships:  A Perspective From Makerere University, Uganda

Dr. Sewankambo led many educational transformations and innovations at Makerere University College of Health Sciences focused on advancing health education and research capacity development. Dr. Sewankambo initiated many partnerships between Makerere and other institutions in Uganda, as well as collaborations with international organizations.
