While travel restrictions and staffing challenges related to COVID-19 suppressed student travel for a time, U-M medical students are once again traveling abroad in numbers approaching pre-pandemic levels. In the past year, 44 UMMS students enjoyed international educational experiences around the globe, many supported by Global REACH.
The most impactful student experiences are those which capitalize on the robust existing partnerships that our faculty have with experts around the world. Join us for an event aimed at connecting students interested in pursuing global health experiences with faculty engaged in international collaborations.
- Hear from select faculty and students partnering on international projects
- Network with faculty involved in global health projects around the globe
- Learn about Global REACH resources supporting international experiences for UMMS students
- Meet with Global REACH staff members and leaders, including recently appointed Global REACH Interim Director Shane Quinonez
A light dinner will be served. Plan to attend, network, and build relationships within the UMMS global health community. We hope to see you there!
