Each year, our colleagues in Ophthalmology host Kellogg International Night, an opportunity to spotlight the numerous global collaborations and exchange activities that take place through the Jerome Jacobson International Program at the Kellogg Eye Center.
This year’s program will feature presentations from Kellogg residents and faculty as well as a guest from the U-M Ross School of Business who is engaged with ophthalmology colleagues and their global partners.
The evening’s keynote speaker is Dr. Suman Thapa, an ophthalmologist in Nepal and president of the Ek Ek Paila Foundation, a non-profit founded in the aftermath of a devastating 2015 earthquake in the region. Dr. Thapa’s organization is committed to providing free, multi-specialty healthcare in very remote areas of Nepal.
