The Global Executive Education Program is designed to empower Michigan Medicine's international partner institutions, offering an unprecedented opportunity for aspiring healthcare leaders around the world to spend time at Michigan Medicine learning critical knowledge and skills to improve and transform care at their home institution.
Due to the ongoing pandemic and travel restrictions, we have replaced our traditional in-person program with a hybrid design combining virtual learning with in-person sessions to be completed at a later date.
Our new modified curriculum combines virtual learning with in-person instruction. Under the hybrid model, synchronous online learning will be enhanced with an in-person experience at a later stage once travel restrictions are lifted. The modified program is intended bridge knowledge gaps and training lapses incurred as a result of the ongoing crisis, with topics and sessions highly applicable to our new COVID era of medicine and medical education.
Participants will engage in the equivalent of two weeks virtual learning with sessions led by Michigan Medicine's top experts, followed by two-weeks of in-person experiential learning on our medical campus at a later date.
