The annual conference of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) takes place this month. CUGH 2021 runs March 12-14 and will include a number of University of Michigan presenters and participants.
Associate Professor of Anthropology Elizabeth Roberts will participate in a March 12 panel discussion: Leaving Behind Disciplinism in Search for Different Knowledge. On March 14, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Learning Health Sciences Cheryl Moyer will receive a Mid-Career Leadership Award during the conference.
In addition, nine conference posters include UM authors from several health science disciplines. UM-affiliated poster presentations – available for viewing any time thanks to the conference’s all-virtual format this year – include projects on diabetes-care programs in Sri Lanka and Guatemala; oral health in Peru; maternal health in Zambia, and much more.
