My immediate goal is to help forward the knowledge and application of human genetics in Ghana by presenting lectures, hold meetings with faculty, students and physicians and provide advice to students and faculty at the University of Accra where a former student is a physician and faculty member. In doing so, I will provide expertise and advice on educational, research and diagnostic fronts but and learn first-hand about the broader needs and opportunities for genetic research, education and diagnostics in West Africa.
