My research has focused on immunomic and proteomic approaches to discover cancer biomarkers as well as to develop inhibitors as new molecularly targeted therapies for cancer. One area of my interests is to target protein-protein interactions involved in transcriptional regulation and, particularly, identify the peptidomimetic inhibitors of the ERG transcription factor, an oncogenic “driver” factor in both hormone-naïve as well as castrate resistant prostate cancer.
