Applicant Responsibility

House Officers accepted into the Healthcare Administration Scholars Program will be expected to attend a minimum of 80% of the sessions. Excused absences include those due to illness or scheduled vacation.  If there is concern regarding the ability to comply with this attendance requirement, we would encourage you to discuss this with your Program Director.  Additionally, Scholars will complete a scholarly project, which will be presented to all program scholars, mentors, faculty and Program Directors.

Program Responsibility

Program Directors will be expected to provide appropriate release time to Scholars so they can participate fully in the program.  This includes working with off-services to arrange release time and constructing the Scholars’ schedule to create optimum opportunity for participation.  In addition, there is a $1500 per year tuition fee for each participant.
