Biography
My project focuses on the characterization of electrophysiological interactions that occur in postnatal GnRH neurons. I am focusing on how activity differences during development alter reproductive function and synaptic transmission. Particularly I will be characterizing how prenatal androgen exposure affects the neural network, which drives reproductive function through electrophysiological and electrochemical recordings. Before joining the lab, I attended undergrad in Ohio at the University of Findlay. During this time, I studied biology and animal science, while managing a research project on axolotl cell culture that allowed me to mentor several younger students.
