Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the Department of Human Genetics one-day scientific retreat

We are pleased to announce that the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the Department of Human Genetics will be hosting a one-day scientific retreat! The retreat will take place on Thursday May 18th, 2023 at Pierpont Commons in Ann Arbor, MI (https://campusinfo.umich.edu/article/pierpont-commons).
 
The goal of this joint retreat is to share ideas on common research interests and to foster the development of collaborations. This goal will be facilitated by short presentations (oral and poster), small-group discussions on selected topics, and informal conversations. This retreat is open to faculty, trainees, and research staff in both departments. We hope you will consider attending!
 
Please fill out the form (link below) no later than Friday, May 5th, 2023, and let us know if you have any questions. Details will follow but the major activities of the retreat will likely run from 9am to 5pm, potentially with a breakfast before hand and a social gathering afterward.
