Biography

I received a BS in Pharmacy from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina (Uel), Brazil, and a MSc in Chemistry from the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCAR), Brazil. I studied oxidative stress and cytokine profiling in autoimmune and inflammatory disorders during my doctoral studies, receiving a PhD in Health Sciences from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina in December 2017. I joined Dr Holoshitz’s lab as a postdoc in January 2018 and have been working with HLA-disease associations.

Research Interests

Studying human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-allele-based signature biologic events, genes and pathways and its associations with autoimmunity.

Cell culture (human and murine-derived macrophages cell lines), western blot, ELISA, IHC, ICC, transfection (siRNA), quantitative PCR, RNA-sequencing, HPLC, CG.

Hobbies and Extracurricular Activities

I love traveling, hiking, kayaking, gardening, baking and photography
