SARS-COV2 and COVID19 Virtual Symposium

As part of the University’s COVID-19 response, the Biosciences Initiative has
established a new Michigan Center for Infectious Disease Threats (MCIDT),
dedicated to improving local and global health through research on infectious
disease threats and building capacity to respond to novel threats as they emerge.

BSI and MCIDT are hosting a virtual symposium to educate the UM community of
researchers and to create opportunities for collaboration and synergy.

Explore the breadth and depth of research at the University of Michigan centered
around SARS-CoV-2 and COVID19, in response to the pandemic.
Hear from representatives on research topics on:

Day 1: Virology and Pathogenesis, Testing and NPI, Transmission and Spread
Day 2: Immunology and Vaccines, Host Factors, Global Health and Epi & Policy
