#LeerNosUne Live: A Virtual Author Panel Celebrating Latinx Heritage Month

8:00 PM to 9:00 PM

About this Event

Join Latinx authors for a free virtual panel celebrating Latinx Heritage Month and exploring topics around storytelling, identity, and more.

Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month by reading along with us, and immersing yourself in the stories by Latinx writers. This year, we're coming together around the theme of #LeerNosUne, reading unites us. Stories have the ability to connect us through shared community and understanding, while honoring the many unique cultures and experiences within the Latinx community.

Join authors Ingrid Rojas Contreras (Fruit of the Drunken Tree), Dan-el Padilla Peralta (Undocumented), Paola Ramos (Finding Latinx), Vincent Toro (Tertulia), and Gabriella Burnham (It Is Wood, It Is Stone), as they discuss topics around storytelling, Latinx and bi-/multicultural identities, and the power of stories to create connections – with each other, our cultures, our past, and the future we envision.

Hosted in partnership with Latinx-owned bookstore Duende District! You can purchase the books by these authors through Duende District's online shop.
