To kick off the celebration of Pride Month this June, the Immunology Program has partnered with U of M's Spectrum Center to offer a 90 minute virtual community workshop, facilitated by the Center’s staff, where attendees (just Immuno folks) can expect to be re/introduced to terminology related to LGBTQ+ identities, to critically think about the societal construction and expectations of gender identity and gender expression, to learn about inclusion practices (how to be a good ally), get answers to questions you may have, as well as give yourself a chance to personally reflect on things you may want to change, keep, and/or learn more about. Of course, it will be a safe space for everyone.
