Beth Moore wins Rackham Distinguished Graduate Mentor Award

Congratulations, Dr. Beth Moore, on winning the Rackham Distinguished Mentor Award!

Thank you to the many of you who wrote letters detailing her “willingness to spend countless hours of on-on-one counseling time with trainees, extraordinary commitment in helping trainees build up their own careers in scientific research, demonstrated exceptional willingness to provide scientific advices, commitment to training trainees in developing their writing and grantsmanship, enthusiasm for science and for teaching students and trainees, and her overall positive influence on the scientific community as a whole.”

We are “very fortunate to have someone with Beth’s level of academic and career success who maintains such a grounded attitude, a positive outlook, and an enthusiasm for training that shows her commitment to the future of science!”

Beth will be presented with the award at a public ceremony on April 22, 2019 in the Rackham Ampitheatre beginning at 3:30 pm. A reception will follow in the Assembly Hall.

Beth's family, friend, colleagues, and students are encouraged to attend! Let's do our best to attend and show our appreciation for Beth.
