AAI member, Francisco Gomez-Rivera's, ABRCMS outreach

Congratulations to AAI member Francisco Gomez-Rivera on being recognized for his ABRCMS (Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students) outreach efforts. Francisco engaged in various ways with ABRCMS attendees and served as an abstract judge for the 2020 meeting. ABRCMS scientific attendees included more than 2,000 undergrad and postbac students and more than 400 grad students and postdoc trainees. Attendees participated in virtual poster and oral presentation. AAI served as a virtual exhibitor at ABRCMS 2020 and as a returning sponsor of immunology presentation awards. The awards, supported by AAI since 2016, are given to the best undergrad and postbac presenters in immunology.
