Padma received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Following graduation, she worked at the Castro-Lowenstein lab, where she investigated immunotherapy approaches to reprogram glioma tumor microenvironment. She is currently perusing her thesis work in the lab of Dr. Marina Pasca Di Magliano.
Padma will be studying how stromal components inhibit anti-tumor T cell responses in pancreatic cancer.
