I received a Bachelors in Biotechnology from J.B Institute of Engineering & Technology in India and a Masters degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I joined Dr. Gudjonsson's lab in 2017 as a Research Tech. Associate studying the role of a novel long non-coding RNA in Psoriasis. Outside the lab, I enjoy cooking, gardening and painting.
I’m studying the Interferons (type III in specific) in keratinocytes and their role in autoimmune skin diseases. I’m actively engaged in studying the genetic modifications of interferon family and its function in host defense mechanisms.
