Hospital Medicine Council

U-M Hospital Medicine

Hospital Medicine Council (HMC) is a committee that was launched in 2011 with the ultimate goal of ensuring that the Division of Hospital Medicine continues to be robust and successful in communication and decision making. HMC is comprised of leaders (e.g. service directors, committee chairs) within the Program as well as representatives of certain faculty constituents (e.g. MedPeds). HMC facilitates communication across the division and prioritization and support of various efforts. It also allows for faculty and division level concerns to be discussed and addressed, and changes that impact the entire division to be vetted.
