Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program

Institute for Healthcare Policy & Innovation (IHPI) Clinician Scholars Program

In partnership with the National Clinician Scholars Program, the Division of Hospital Medicine has dedicated Hospital Medicine Research and Quality Improvement fellowship positions open for promising candidates. These fellowships are two-year commitments and provide investigators with in-depth training in study design, methods, statistical analysis, grant, and manuscript writing from some of the nations most respected clinical and health services researchers. In parallel with dedicated class work, dedicated senior mentors from the Division of Hospital Medicine provide career guidance and research training. Fellows are expected to complete three practicas before graduation including a Systematic Literature Review, a data-based analysis, and a grant. Our fellows are nationally competitive and routinely recruited by multiple hospital medicine programs.
