The Scleroderma Program's faculty and staff have a passion for teaching and mentoring students and do so in various programs and settings. One example is the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) where students are partnered with a Michigan Medicine faculty member, research scientist, or professional practitioner to work on an ongoing or new research project.

In addition, Dr. Khanna is the director for the annual Update in Rheumatic Diseases CME course which educates health care providers on the most up-to-date management and treatment options for different rheumatic diseases, leading to improved patient outcomes.
