Risk for breast cancer's return can linger for decades

A study conducted by a research team that includes Daniel Hayes, MD, Stuart B. Padnos Professor of Breast Cancer Research and Professor of Internal Medicine, finds that women treated for early stage breast cancer still face a substantial risk of recurrence up to 20 years later.
