Biography

Dr. Marc Thorne received a B.S. in Biology from Cornell University. He earned his M.D. from Washington University (2001), before coming to the University of Michigan for residency training (2006). He completed a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (2008), during which time he also obtained his MPH from Johns Hopkins University. Following fellowship training, he returned to Ann Arbor to join the faculty at the University of Michigan.

Areas of Interest

Dr. Thorne’s research interests center around pediatric hearing loss, including identification and risk factors for congenital hearing loss and outcomes related to pediatric cochlear implantation.
