The Kresge Hearing Research Institute is hosting the 2015 Michigan-Toledo P30 Spring Meeting on May 11 at the U-M Biomedical Science Research Building, Seminar Rooms A, B and C, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This meeting invites members of the neuroscience community from several regional academic institutions to get a first-hand account of the trials and tribulations of translational research, and network with the sensory community of our area.

This year’s program will feature a mini-symposium and round-table on, "The Realities of Translational Research: Lessons from Metabolic and Neurological Disorders," organized by Gabriel Corfas, Ph.D. Speakers include Eva Feldman, M.D., Ph.D. (stem cells); David Fink, M.D. (viral therapies); and James Shayman, M.D. (drug development). The program will also include short presentations by students, fellows and faculty, as well as a poster session.
