Ethical, legal and social implications of learning health systems: A panel presentation

This interactive panel discussion will present key issues and current research on the ethical, legal and social issues raised:

1.    for patients and clinicians in gathering their health information and biospecimens for a LHS,
2.    in converting patient information and donations into usable data and specimens for quality improvement and secondary research to operate a LHS, and
3.    in the legal and property interests in transitioning such data to knowledge in a LHS.
