9:15 AM to 6:00 PM

Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications in Bethesda, Maryland

Leaders from informatics, library science, healthcare and a variety of biomedical sciences will convene in July for the second Mobilizing Computable Biomedical Knowledge (MCBK) conference.

Mobilizing Computable Biomedical Knowledge (MCBK) – DLHS is pleased to share that an open MCBK conference is upcoming on July 10 - 11, 2018 at the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications in Bethesda, Maryland. Experts from academia, government and biomedical libraries came together in October 2017 at University of Michigan for the inaugural MCBK conference to explore how to create a scalable knowledge infrastructure that is sustainable and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable).  The Maryland conference is intended to build on that work and strengthen relationships across the communities interested in mobilizing computable biomedical knowledge.
