Dr. Allison Ruff graduated from the University of Florida before obtaining her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine training at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH, where she also served as Chief Medical Resident. Her clinical interests include primary care of medically complex adults, women's health, preventative medicine, and medical education. She lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and three children.

What attracted you to the MHPE Program?

I have been involved in medical education throughout my career but I have reached a place where I felt the gap in my educational knowledge.  The MHPE program allows me to focus on my personal areas for development while also working full time and being a Mom of

Primary Care General Internal Medicine with a focus on medically complex patients and women’s health, also focused on promotion of General Internal Medicine and primary care careers amongst medical students.
