Biography

Cameron is a first-year master’s student in the Health Informatics program. His interests in the precision health certificate stems from his career pursuits in data science, focusing on data engineering and emphasizing different concepts such as visualization, mining, algorithms and machine learning. Educating consumers, helping them dissect the data they are given, is of utmost importance. Obtaining the Precision Health certificate will help improve his skills in data visualization, showing complexity in explaining graphs that make sense to patients; predictive analytics, removing data from datasets in order to present new strategies through the process of project management, and data/cleaning/mining, deciding what information is needed for the presentation and fixing the data within.
