Chris is a medical student at the University of Michigan Medical School, pursuing a career in general surgery and implementation science in global health. His research interests include health care access in humanitarian settings and increasing surgical access for vulnerable populations. He has conducted research in Peru, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Colombia, the U.S.-Mexico border, and Liberia.

Chris loves all things outdoors including skiing, backpacking, and camping.
