Biography

Dr. Skye is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Department of Learning Health Sciences at the University of Michigan’s Medical School.  Dr. Skye maintains a clinical practice in Family Medicine.   Dr. Skye has extensive involvement in educational programs at the University of Michigan’s medical school and within his department.  His academic interests include program development and evaluation.  His medical school roles currently include acting as Director of one of the medical school learning communities and their Path of Excellence program.  In his department he serves as Associate Chair for Educational Programs and as the Director for the Academic Fellowship.  He also serves as a residency training program consultant with the American Academy of Family Physicians “Residency Program Solutions” consulting panel and is involved in international educational collaborations in Ghana and Japan.
