Florence (Flora) Hurley

Flora Hurley is a MS student in the University of Michigan Medical School and Department of Learning Health Sciences pursuing her degree in Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems (HILS). She recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While there, she completed a senior thesis in the Department of Biochemistry that focused on vitamin D research under the guidance of Dr. Hector DeLuca (to be published soon). She plans to continue to medical school and joining the U.S. Navy after completing the program and gaining more clinical experience working at Johns Hopkins Health System in Maryland.
