Biography
Guan has been working for scientific communities as an IT professional for 15 years. He is part of the EMERSE team led by Dr. David Hanauer. His role includes software development, system administration and data management.
Outside of work, he enjoys reading hardcopy books for programming, watching movies with his wife and child, walking his dog, and collecting 1/6 scale military figures.
Areas of Interest
In recent years, his focus is on designing and implementing software systems involving clinical, waveform and PACS data analysis in a near real-time fashion for informatics and data science teams at Michigan Medicine.
