Biography
Janelle Stewart is a healthcare administrator in Surgical Oncology, ESL educator, and U.S. Coast Guard veteran. She obtained her B.S. in Psychology from Central Michigan University and has graduate level training in TESOL/ESL. She teaches ESL including presentation skills to visiting researchers and junior faculty. Her current projects and interests includes patient access, medical education, improving mental health support for students, supporting international medical/nursing students, and standardization of electronic health records for research and improved patient outcomes. Janelle has a passion for the excellence in healthcare practices, students, and the international community, and currently resides in Ann Arbor, MI with her children, a dog and 3 cats, who run the house.
